To Turn on Advanced Inventory:
- From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
- On the left pane, choose Items & Inventory then go to the Company Preferences tab.
- Check the Inventory and Purchase Orders are Active box.
- Select the Advanced Inventory Settings button. If the button is grayed out even though you have purchased the feature, you will need to sync license data online so that QuickBooks recognizes it.
- In QuickBooks, select Help then Manage my License and then Sync License Data Online.
- Check that Advanced Inventory Settings is no longer grayed out.
- Close and re-open the QuickBooks program.
Turn on multiple inventory locations, track bin locations.
Activate serial and lot number, activate expiration date

Enable Barcodes
Enable site operations: Enable sales order fulfillment worksheet, Enable purchase order management worksheet
Setup landed cost
- Select Edit, then select Preferences.
- Select Sales & Customers, then select Company Preferences.
- In Custom Pricing, select Enable Advanced Pricing.
- Tell QuickBooks how to handle price rounding.
- To not use rounding, select Don’t round prices.
- To use the same rounding for all price rules, select Use the same rounding across all price rules, then select a rounding option.
- To set the rounding for each price rule separately, select Set rounding on each price rule.
- Select OK.
To start the install, go to the QuickBooks Reports menu and select Advanced Reporting.
Quickbooks Enterprise will start downloading Advanced Reporting Modules.
